The Program

The Mind & Body® Program is a comprehensive learning program designed to reduce weight, waist size and other modifiable cardio-metabolic risk factors that lead to diabetes, heart disease and premature death.

Through mastery of The 8 Essential Practices for a Healthy Mind & Body®, participants will gain the knowledge, behavioral strategies, and cognitive skills necessary to achieve and/or maintain a healthy weight and reduce their risk of chronic disease.

How it Works

The Mind & Body Program is the first of its kind to provide seamless integration of phone-based coaching with an intensive online curriculum designed to optimize adult learning. The program structures its 12-month curriculum around The 8 Essential Practices for a Healthy Mind & Body®, evidence-based principles designed to teach participants to be experts in healthy living. When they join the program, participants will immediately be part of a private, online learning community in which they will complete courses, track their progress and interact with others in the program.

There are over 25 Web Coach® Courses to choose from including:
  • Reducing Sedentary Behavior
  • Sleep, Weight & Stress
  • Emotional Eating
  • Tame Your Stress Response
  • The 5 Keys to Eating Well

Expert guidance is provided throughout the program via phone and online interactions with Nutritionists and Mind & Body® Coaches who are highly trained in cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, exercise physiology and nutrition.

What to Expect

Participants who follow the 12-month plan will achieve a healthier weight and learn to maintain it, lowering their risk for chronic disease and potentially reversing the effects of pre-existing health conditions such as diabetes, heart disease and osteoarthritis.

Risk reduction and health improvement is assessed using an array of biomarkers and bio-behavioral markers including:
  • Weight
  • Body mass index
  • Waist measurement
  • Blood pressure
  • Physical activity levels
  • Nutrition
Throughout the 12-month program, outcomes, satisfaction rates, service levels, imputed cost savings and engagement levels are measured and reported to our clients monthly and quarterly using Vital Signs™, our proprietary online reporting tool.

Based on a recent survey, after 6 months in the program:


  • 85% of participants lost weight
